About USMC Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
The United States Marine Corps Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is a comprehensive assessment conducted annually between January 1st and June 30th to measure the physical readiness and combat effectiveness of every Marine. As part of the world's most elite fighting force, Marines must maintain exceptional fitness standards.

🏆 Elite Performance Standards
Marines who score 1st Class (235-300 points) demonstrate exceptional fitness levels that exceed most civilian and military standards, reflecting the Corps' commitment to excellence.
Scoring Requirements:
- Minimum: 40 points per event, 150 total
- Maximum: 100 points per event, 300 total
- Push-ups: Maximum 70 points (when chosen over pull-ups)
- Age/Gender: Standards vary by age group and gender
